Job Description:
Zavda was founded in 2006 and is an SDB Certified, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Woman-owned small business that offers leading IT management, Intel, and Cyber opportunities in both the private and public sectors.  Zavda is looking for a System Administrator to join our team.

Role Overview

Overseeing all IT services, and ensuring they remain available to the client at all times. This includes desktop, server, network, telephone, and cloud-based services. In the circumstances where a service outage does occur it is their role to ensure service is restored as fast as possible.  This is accomplished via coordinating with multiple teams to include high-level briefings to clients, and senior leadership. That coordination combined with an intricate knowledge of the entire technology infrastructure allows for an extremely high success rate.  This role requires high-level, time-sensitive, decision-making while supporting a high-profile large Government client. Once service restoral is accomplished, root cause analysis is completed, to ensure similar outages do not re-occur. 

Requirements:

• Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position.
• Experience in ticket management systems like Remedy is a plus.
• Unix experience is not required but is a plus.
• The candidate must be a team player and have the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Must be able to multi-task
  Must possess good communication and customer service skills.  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS or equivalent + 4 yrs related experience
• HDI Problem management certifications
• ITIL V3 certified
