Job Description:

Zavda is looking for a System Engineer to analyze functional business requirements and design specifications for general system security activities, conceptualizing an overall security posture and driving analytics to that end. The System Engineer will also direct analytics design and resolve problems within existing analytics code.
Required:
- Background in data science and Computer Network Defense (CND)
- Vulnerability and security metrics
- NiFi
- Coding experience with Pig, Java, or Python
- Experience in analytic or application design
- General understanding of Windows and Unix security/patching/configuration strategy
- AWS services and storage mechanisms
Desired:
- CISSP certification (preferably with ISSEP)
- Comfortable taking initiative and working independently with minimal direction
- Experience creating high level designs as well as implementing lower-level details
- Experience in both system engineering and development
Education / Experience:
- Master’s Degree or Higher and 6 Years
- Equivalent:
- High Schol Diploma / GED and 12 Years
- Assciate degree and 10 Years
- Bachelr’s Degree and 8 Years
- Dctorate and 4 Years
