Job Description:

Zavda was founded in 2006 and is a SDB certified, Service Disabled Veteran owned, and Woman owned small business that offers leading IT management, Intel, and Cyber opportunities in both the private and public sector.  Zavda is looking for an Application Engineer IV. The Application Engineer will support the Infrastructure Services team, utilizing AWS cloud technologies to build out the architecture to host product teams cloud applications, building out and maintaining the core infrastructure for the customer and responsible for provisioning and configuring large clusters of servers.

  • Experience with Linux systems including management of CentOS and Red Hat
  • Knowledge of AWS and its applications (i.e. EC2, S3, AWS CLI, ECE, EBS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and docker
  • Experience with configuration management tools (i.e. Salt, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of PKI certificate generation and management


  • Experience with Splunk, network flow data subject matter expertise, network and firewall administration
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, Elastic Stack

Education / Experience:

  • Master’s Degree or Higher and 6 Years
  • Equivalent:
    • High Schol Diploma/GED and 12 Years, or
    • Assciate’s Degree and 10 Years, or
    • Bachelr’s Degree and 8 Years, or
    • Dctorate and 4 Years
