Job Description:

Zavda is looking for a Systems Engineer III. This position will be a combination Technical Project Manager interfacing with a variety of internal and external organizations to track, monitor, and control an important, multi-year technology upgrade project. Duties will include working closely with the government team lead for the project, as well as cross-organization coordination to ensure all parties are aware of current status, project requirements (and changes), schedule, etc. Will chair weekly and bi-weekly internal and cross-organization status meetings, review boards. Proficiency with Excel is a must. This person will also be responsible for evaluating team efficiency and making process improvement recommendations to the customer.
Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a background including systems engineering and integration, some configuration management and requirements management, and most importantly technical project management experience.

Qualifications:
Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. CWIP NOT REQUIRED.
