Principal Communications/Network Engineer (PCNE) Level V:
Serve as the Communications/Network Engineer Team Leader, including overall leadership responsibility for the Communications/Networks Engineers
Resolve complex network problems. Operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network simulators.
Support and provide site personnel training on network fundamentals and specific network hardware.
Possess advanced written and communication skills.
Possess a CISCO Certified Internet Engineer (CCIE) certification, or a minimum of 10 years experience in network design to include routing, switching and network security.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in following routing protocols, RIP, OSPF, TCP/IP, ATM, BGP, and VOIP, QOS, Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, terminal servers, and NTP servers.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in SONET, T3, T1 WAN implementation and testing.
