IT Security Specialist Levels IV, V:
Provide support to plan, coordinate and implement the organization’s information security
Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design and implementation of security related to IT programs
Working knowledge of: business security practices and procedures; current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption tools/techniques; commercial products; current Internet/EC technology
Previous experience as a system security engineer is strongly desired.
For Level V: DoD 8570 compliance with Level 3 System Security Engineering or Architecture.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
